The Board of Education, Special School District No. 1, has scheduled the following meetings. These meetings are OPEN to the public unless otherwise noticed.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that at its regular meeting on August 16, 2022, held and convened in the Board Room at 1250 West Broadway Avenue, Minneapolis, Minnesota, the Board of Education of Special School District No. 1, Minneapolis Public Schools, will conduct a public hearing on the adoption of a project labor agreement between Minneapolis Public Schools, Special School District No. 1 and the Minneapolis Building and Construction Trades Council. The Project Labor Agreement will be required for all Minneapolis Public Schools capital construction projects with an estimated cost greater than $250,000. The Project Labor Agreement has a term from 2022 to 2027. A copy of the Project Labor Agreement will be part of the Board of Education meeting package and can be accessed here: https://facilities.mpls.k12.mn.us/cpcm.

A public hearing will be held for the Board of Education to take public comments on the proposed Project Labor Agreement. Adoption of the Project Labor Agreement, if it is being adopted, will be during the September 13, 2022, Board of Education Meeting.
